Impact of Corporate Social Responsibility on Regional Economic Stability
Project Abstract
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has transitioned from a peripheral voluntary gesture to a critical determinant of long-term economic resilience. This research investigates the multi-faceted impact of CSR initiatives on local GDP and regional development, challenging traditional silos in corporate reporting.
Despite significant annual flows in corporate philanthropy, the absence of a standardized, data-driven transparency framework often obscures actual community impact. Our research team at Morgan State University is building a unified data platform to bridge this knowledge gap.
By employing high-dimensional AI data extraction, we identify hidden correlations between corporate giving and socio-economic outcomes. This provides stakeholders with evidence-based tools to evaluate the true value of corporate citizenship in the modern economy.
This project specifically targets the extraction of "soft" signals from unstructured datasets, correlating them with financial performance metrics to create a predictive model for corporate-community impact assessment.
